Indeed. I never understood fans from franchises who could only like one and not the other. I get preferring one over others but as you said, ‘Can’t we all just get along?’ Though, of recent times, I’ve committed the fanfic sin of stealing elements from one franchise and using them in Trek. Just as an example, you’ll see a Firefly class ship as an old Andorian Vah’leh class operating as a civilian cargo ship in one of my stories! So, I am in more than agreement with the above sentiment.
Can I just coexist with everything BUT Star Wars? Please? Only Star Wars would have the gull to rerelease the WORST movie in the franchise in 3D. Along with possibly the worst character ever created in Jar Jar Binks.Â
OMG, this one has Farscape and Firefly in it (among others, obviously, but those are my favorites beside Trek)! I had seen the Trek/Wars one Takei posted on FB, but this takes the whole concept to a new level of awesome.  🙂  I really need a Farscape rewatch.

What is this “Jar Jar Binks ” you speak of? The only Star Wars movies I know of are the ones released in 1977, 1980, and 1983. 😉
